| 1 bag Success White Rice or Success Brown Rice | 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped | |
| 1 can (20 oz.) apple pie filling | 1/4 cup uncooked rolled oats | |
| 1 cup brown sugar, packed (divided) | 4 tablespoons margarine | |
| 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon | vanilla ice cream (optional) | |
| 1/2 cup raisins |
Prepare rice according to package directions.
Cool.
Preheat oven at 350º F. Spray 8-inch square baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Combine rice, pie filling, 1/2 cup brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins and walnuts in a medium bowl. Pour into prepared dish. In the same bowl, combine rolled oats and remaining 1/2 cup brown sugar.
Cut in margarine with pastry blender or fork, mixing well until mixture is moist.
Sprinkle over rice mixture. Bake 20 minutes.
Top with ice cream, if desired.
