|1 bag Success White Rice or Success Brown Rice||1/4 cup walnuts, chopped|
|1 can (20 oz.) apple pie filling||1/4 cup uncooked rolled oats|
|1 cup brown sugar, packed (divided)||4 tablespoons margarine|
|1 teaspoon ground cinnamon||vanilla ice cream (optional)|
|1/2 cup raisins|
Prepare rice according to package directions.
Preheat oven at 350º F. Spray 8-inch square baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Combine rice, pie filling, 1/2 cup brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins and walnuts in a medium bowl. Pour into prepared dish. In the same bowl, combine rolled oats and remaining 1/2 cup brown sugar.
Cut in margarine with pastry blender or fork, mixing well until mixture is moist.
Sprinkle over rice mixture. Bake 20 minutes.
Top with ice cream, if desired.
