Squishy Marshmallow Sculptures

This is a free-form project with no instructions. Older children may want to make three-dimensional structures, while the younger ones are often content creating such things as "spiders" (one marshmallow with 14 toothpicks stuck into it). Don't fret about them eating too many marshmallows; if you relax, most kids quickly become absorbed in using them creatively!

What You Will Need:

1 large package small marshmallows
toothpicks (colored are more fun)

For best results, dry the marshmallows in a paper bag for several days before using. (Dried marshmallows are great to have on hand all winter, but don't sweat it -- fresh ones work fine, too!) Pour them into a bowl, provide the toothpicks (supervise toddlers) and let the fun begin!
