Join Our Live State of the Union Chat for a Chance to Win an Amazon Gift Card

As President Obama addresses the nation, we'll be dishing about the state of the country, Election 2012 and presidential trivia.

Grab your popcorn, a cup of tea, and your comfy slippers and bone up on your presidential trivia because we’re ready to have a blast of presidential proportions. Can you tell we’re excited?

We’re hosting a live chat throughout President Obama’s State of the Union address tonight beginning at 9:00pm ET. We’ll be talking about the speech, the issues, and of course, Campaign 2012

Yes, you would have to be living under a rock not to know that this is a presidential election year! How will the president’s speech go over with voters? Will it impact Newt Gingrich  and Mitt Romney as they battle for the GOP presidential nomination? We'll talk about all of that plus we’ll be giving out $50 gift cards from Amazon.com throughout the night to the history buffs who give the first answer to our State of the Union trivia questions. So study up!

Leading the chat will be a team from iVillage, iVote and iVoices:

Kelly Wallace, iVillage’s Chief Correspondent
Joanne Bamberger, Election Editor/Correspondent, iVillage.com/iVote
Jim Higley, iVoices on iVillage
Sharon Rowley, iVoices on iVillage
Esther Crawford, iVoices on iVillage
Beth Engelman, iVoices on iVillage

Join our live State of the Union chat starting at 9:00pm ET tonight. Once you’re there, sign in with your Facebook, Twitter or Yahoo account to participate. Be sure to check the "Update Networks" box if you want your comments to appear on your Facebook or Twitter feed. Then join the conversation! We can’t wait to chat with you tonight!

In addition, we’ll be doing a live chat with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius this Friday, January 27th at 12noon ET on the state of women’s health, the State of the Union and issues in Campaign 2012.  Have a question for the Secretary? Please chime in below and we’ll try to ask your questions live. We’ll also update you over the next few days on how you can send your questions live during the chat.

So much great stuff... hope you’ll join us!
