Meet the Bone Divas. These 13 women, age 57 to 78, have been transformed from "everyday woman" to "calendar girl" and share a common goal: to encourage and inspire other women to take care of their bones and lead fulfilling, active lives - just like themselves.

The Bone Divas are among an estimated 10 million Americans diagnosed with osteoporosis, 8 million of whom are women. The women come from all walks of life. One is an international flight attendant, one an expert skier, and another, a record-setting runner. Meet a few of these amazing women now:

Patte Dee McKee, 69, Santa Clarita, CA
Patte Dee is mother of four and former model who was "discovered" at age 16 by film legend Howard Hughes. Her fitness secrets include exercising a lot, lifting weights, eating healthy and taking medication. Learn more about this Bone Diva>>

Barbara Parr, 66, Lebanon, PA
Barbara was diagnosed in 1992 when she noticed she was losing inches in height. She leads a very active life and exercises regularly. Her regimen includes walking three miles a day, weight training and golf. Learn more about this Bone Diva>>

Susan Austin, 62, Seattle, WA
Susan was diagnosed almost 10 years ago during a routine physical. The recently retired international flight attendant works out regularly and does weight lifting three times per week. In addition, she maintains a healthy diet, walks, swims and skis regularly. Learn more about this BoneDiva>>

Ginger La Motta, Branchburg, NJ
Ginger maintains a healthy diet and exercises regularly by working out 3-4 times per week. She is a very active and doting grandmother - plays on the floor with her grandchildren and lets them ride on her shoulders.
