Paula Rae Forastiero is Executive Editor of HealthCentersOnline.com, which is part of iVillage Inc., a leading women's media company and the number one source for women's content and community online.

Ms. Forastiero is responsible for the editorial direction and creation of health-related patient guides, tools and services targeted toward helping patients better communicate with their physicians regarding their health concerns. These health areas include cardiovascular disease, diabetes, allergies & asthma, obgyn concerns, cancer, skin, pain, emotional health and more. She also oversees the Healthy Living Program, which offers online tools for improving diet, activity levels and stress management.

Prior to joining HealthCentersOnline in 2000, Ms. Forastiero worked as the Communications Director for a not-for-profit company offering a range of healthcare and community services to older adults. Prior to that, she spent 8 years as an editor and journalist.

Ms. Forastiero holds a Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration and Policy from the Milano School of Management & Urban Policy at New School University. She completed her bachelor's degree in English Writing Arts and Music at the Honor College of the State University of New York at Oswego.
