Results from a recent survey conducted by iVillage suggest that most women need more information about the significant impact epilepsy and AEDs have on important female health issues. Below is a snapshot of the results.

Data was collected online between May 5 and June 6, 2005, with 440 females with epilepsy age 18 and over who take anti-epileptic drugs to treat their condition. The survey consisted of 19 questions that sought to gauge survey respondent's perceptions on key issues relating to women's health and epilepsy.
