
Kellie Gould is senior vice president and editor-in-chief of iVillage, a leading women's media company and the number one source for women's content and community online. Under Ms. Gould's editorship, iVillage has become one of the top online content and community destinations in the U.S. for women.
Ms. Gould is responsible for the direction and creation of award-winning editorial content for the site's 17 million monthly visitors. In January of 2005, she led a strategic relaunch of the site, focusing on a fresh and more modern feel, broadband features, new daily content and a stronger editorial voice.
Her other responsibilities include overseeing content development for several of iVillage's affiliated sites including gURL.com, managing the overall business operations of the editorial department and overseeing the Hearst Magazine Group, which creates the content for the Hearst Magazine sites residing on iVillage.
A frequent guest on television, Ms. Gould offers expertise on topics that are important to women such as parenting, health and well-being, relationships and diet and fitness.
Since joining iVillage in 1996, she has held a variety of positions including senior vice president, programming, vice president, programming and editorial director.
Prior to joining iVillage, Ms. Gould was a features associate at Vogue and a reporter for the AdWeek family of magazines.
Ms. Gould graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds a B.A. in journalism and English. She is a board member of the Maternity Center Association in New York City.
