Before the end of the day today, make a fun date with yourself. Maybe it’s a mani-pedi, drinks with friends or trying out that new Thai restaurant with your hubby. Forget about your responsibilities for a while -- it’s good for you. “Having fun is valuable for our mental and physical health in terms of reducing stress, feeling happier and staying well,” says Michelle Gannon, Ph.D., a psychologist based in San Francisco. “Like any other important commitment, put it on your calendar.”
