Storytelling

Directions

Tell a story today. Retell a story you have read, heard or seen, or make one up in your imagination. Write down a few sentences to describe the beginning, middle and end. The challenge is to give enough description of characters, scene and action to give your audience a mental picture. You may want to practice your words and facial expressions in front of a mirror before you tell the story to an audience. This is a fun way to test stories you make up to see if you like them enough to write down.
