What Every Woman Can Learn from 10 of the Sassiest of Sassy Dames

The women we look up to and idolize all tend to have one thing in common...they're sassy and not afraid to use it to say what's on their minds

It’s weird that the word “sassy” had gotten such a bad rap. According to the Oxford Dictionary, “sassy” means “lively, bold, and full of spirit; cheeky.” There’s nothing in there about being scary, hard-to-deal-with, hyper-opinionated, mean-spirited or any of the other negative attributes applied to modern sassafrasses. Have we become so dry and humorless that bold women scare us? Bold women get things done. Bold women are not pushed around.

We think having a little sass is good for all women. Whether it be in the workplace, with friends or with a boyfriend or husband…

Here are some words of wisdom from some of the sassiest women who have ever lived.
