Study Finds Marriage Could Help People Survive Cancer

HLN says a new study found married people with cancer are 20% less likely to die of it than those who are single. USA Today says social support may actually be the secret to survival, not a wedding ring. NBC spoke with breast cancer survivor Sue Stone, who believes her husband’s support helped her beat the disease. CNN reports single people were 53% less likely to receive the appropriate therapies for their cancer.
