Why We Love: No bells and whistles here. This wooden puzzle is just so old-school cool -- many of us had some version of it growing up -- and a welcome contrast to all the tech gizmos that fill the house. It helps big kids practice reading and geography, and little kids practice fine motor skills and shape sorting.
Cool Fact: The back of the puzzle board lists an abundance of facts about each state, such as population, size, year of statehood and motto.
