Perfect for hot yoga or anyone who sweats up a storm doing her asanas, the Harmony Professional mat from Jade Yoga ($65 at Jade Yoga ) is made with natural rubber to provide more slip resistance than traditional yoga mats. At 3/16 of an inch thick, it also provides more cushion, though it is noticeably heavier than your typical mat. You may want to save it for home practice rather than lugging it to the yoga studio. An added bonus: Jade plants a tree through Trees for the Future for every mat sold.
