IN A NUTSHELL: A slimmed down Nia Vardalos (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) stars in a smaller, skinnier comedy about an aimless Greek-American tour guide who gets her groove back while showing tourists the land of her grandfathers.
FOR YOU: You can feel a certain contentment at knowing that your life, if chaotic, is hardly a ruin. And the gorgeous scenery, including rare shots on the Acropolis, makes this a great armchair summer vacation.
FOR THEM: Well, it’s PG-13, so it may be a little bit risque, and definitely way too mushy.
