Country superstar Keith Urban opened up backstage at the American Music Awards about his wife Nicole Kidman and 1-year-old daughter Sunday Rose — and he thinks Sunday has a future in singing!
"She's got some pipes," he revealed backstage. "Loud, you know. She sounds quite musical. I sit with her at the piano every morning, we mash the keys together." Aww!
Urban also gushed about Nicole, who he calls “Nic” — we guess it doesn’t bother him that it was also ex-hubby Tom Cruise’s name for her! — being there for his award.
“I’ve never won anything with Nic sitting in the audience before. I won Entertainer of the Year in ‘05 and she wasn’t able to be there so I had to call her. It was beautiful to have her down in the front. She’s such an inspiration for everything I do.”
