Get updates from your favorite iVillage message boards delivered right to your feed reader or My Yahoo page, using an RSS feed.

What's RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) allows people to receive the latest updates from their favorite Websites. In more technical terms, RSS is an XML-based format for distributing and aggregating Web content, such as news headlines.

rssAt the top of every message board you will see a button that links to the RSS feed for that board.

How can I use RSS?
Use RSS feeds to get the latest message board discussions delivered directly to your feed reader or personal start page, such as your iVillage Connect hub. Check your connections, your messages and the newest discussions on your favorite boards — all at the same time!

Where do I put the RSS Feeds?
Web-based newsreaders, such as Bloglines or Newsgator, allow you to create your own mix of feeds that you can access from any Web browser. My Yahoo! or My AOL users can add also feeds to their personalized pages. You can now add feeds to your Connect hub so you can get the latest updates each time you log in to your profile. All you need is the Web address of your selected feed — just click the orange RSS button to get the URL for the feed. You may see a page full of computer code. Ignore that. Just grab the web page URL from the address field and enter it into your newsreader and you'll be subscribed.

RSS feeds are also available for many areas of iVillage as well as our blogs. Find out how to add these other great feeds to your personalized pages. Due to the sensitive nature of some of our topics, RSS feeds are not available for all message boards.
