Look up an answer with Advanced Search: To use Advanced Search, just click the "Advanced Search" link next to the basic search box at the top of every message board page.
Read more messages faster with Multi-Message View:In Board Settings, you can choose how many messages you wish to see displayed on a page by scrolling down to the "Message Display" section and selecting a number from the pull-down menu.
Get email notifications of replies to your messages: To receive notifications of replies to your posts, check the "Yes" box under "Email Notifications" on the "Board Settings" pages. You may also activate this feature from the "post a message" and "reply to a message" pages; simply check the box at the lower left of the text entry space.
Flag Discussions as High Interest:Add a High Interest Flag to the discussions you find most interesting, so you can quickly locate them when you return to the message board. When you find a good discussion, you can mark it as "high interest" by checking the box at the bottom of the page where you read messages.
Get digests of your favorite boards by email: Found a message board or a discussion that you love, but don't have time to check in regularly to see what's new? Sign up for a digest of the discussion or message board by clicking the "Get Updates of This Discussion Delivered by Email" button. You'll find this button at the bottom of the message display pages. When you sign up, you will be able to set how frequently you wish to receive the digests. To review or change the digests you've selected, go to the "Your Digests" page, which is linked to from the top of every message board.
Add personality to your messages with handy formatting tools: When you are logged in, you will see formatting toolbars at the top of the text entry box on the "post a message" page. (Note: To take advantage of this feature, you need to be using Internet Explorer (IE) 5.0 or newer on Windows. If you are not using Windows or IE 5.0 or newer, you can format your message with HTML.)
Spell check your messages: After typing your message in the text entry box on the "post a message" page, just click the spell check button at the bottom of the message box. At this time, spell check is not available for Mac users.
Create and save your own Personal Signature: On the "Board Settings" page, you'll see a space for creating your "Sig Line," a personal signature line that will be automatically added to the bottom of all your messages.
You can also attach files and photos to your messages. At the bottom of the box where you compose your message, click on the "Attach file" button and follow the step-by-step instructions.
