Susan Boyle Cancels 'DWTS' Performance Due to Sore Throat

Susan Boyle's Dancing with the Stars scheduled performance was silenced Monday, when the America's Got Talent sensation was forced to cancel due to sickness.

After coming down with something on the trip from Scotland to Los Angeles, Boyle, who hoped to promote her second album due out this fall, had to put the kibosh on her big number.

"Her doctor advised her not to sing due to a severe throat infection," her rep says in a statement to People.com. "Susan is very upset at letting her fans down. Their continued support means so much to her."

This is the second major TV performance that didn't work out for Boyle. She had been set to sing Lou Reed's "Perfect Day" on America's Got Talent recently but had to back out because of an issue over the rights to the song.
