Jay Leno was in a flirtatious mood on last night's show, and his guest, the lovely Susan Sarandon, was happy to play along.
We can't blame Jay for his multiple references to Susan's stunning appearance: The 63-year-old actress looks fantastic for her age, or any age, really.
It's hard not to wonder, though, if he would've introduced a male guest -- say, her partner of 21 years, Tim Robbins -- by saying "not only does she have a great body, she has a great body of work."
When they talked about Susan's Catholic upbringing and she mentioned that she'd gone to Catholic school, Susan played along nicely when afterward Jay confessed: "I'm still thinking about you in that uniform."
"Next time, I'll wear one," Sarandon joked.
They also talked about how her youngest son, Miles, will be heading off to college next year, leaving her with an empty nest. She admitted she's "so ready" for that phase of life.
"The thing is, when you have kids, you're such a captive to their school schedule," Susan said. "If you get an invite somewhere or you want to go someplace, you have to be back...I'm very hands on."
Jay's sexy, suggestive talk continued into his "Earn Your Plug" segment, where Susan had an alleged "body double" stand in for her in a ping-pong challenge. The understudy was a tall, leggy, long-haired brunette in a tiny black dress. She was also a pretty terrible table-tennis player.
"It's the dress, the dress is distracting," Jay joked. "Take it off!"
