1. Eligibility: Entrant must be 13 years of age or older as of November 14, 2003 and a legal resident of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Employees of Sponsors, Universal Studios, Inc., and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, advertising and promotional agencies and the immediate family (defined as parents, spouse, children, siblings, grandparents) and those living in the same household of each such employee are NOT eligible. Void where prohibited.
2. Timing: Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. E.T. on November 14, 2003 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. E.T. on December 7, 2003 (the "Promotion Period").
3. How to Enter: During the Promotion Period, visit http://www.gurl.com/more/contests/honey/index.html and complete and submit required entry information. Eligible minors should have their parent's or legal guardian's permission to enter. Limit one entry per person/email address. More than one entry from any person or e-mail address will void all entries from that person or e-mail address.
4. Drawing: By participating, each entrant (or, if minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) agrees to comply with all terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility requirements. Potential winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received on or about December 10, 2003 by Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winners will be notified by e-mail or mail by December 17, 2003. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within fourteen (14) days after the first attempt to contact such potential winner, an alternate entrant may be selected. If winner is an eligible minor, prize will be awarded to his/her parent or legal guardian.
5. Prizes: Grand Prize (1): $500 American Express Gift Certificate which may be put towards a clothing makeover (Approximate Retail Value ("ARV": $500). First Prize (2): $100 American Express Gift Certificate and a Honey: Original Motion Picture soundtrack (ARV: $118 each). American Express Gift Certificates are subject to certain terms and conditions. Total ARV of All Prizes: $736. Released Parties (as defined below) not responsible for lost or mutilated prizes and none will be replaced. Prize is nontransferable and no cash or other substitution may be made except by Sponsor, who reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to award a prize of comparable or greater value. All taxes, fees and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of winner.
6. Other Terms and Conditions: Potential winners (or, if minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release, and where lawful, a Publicity Release within fourteen (14) days of issuance, failing which the potential winner will be disqualified and another potential winner selected. If any prize or prize notification is returned as non-deliverable, the potential winner will be disqualified and another potential winner will be selected. By accepting the prize, the winner (or, if minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) agrees that the Sponsor and its designees may use winner's name, picture/portrait likeness and/or voice, for advertising and promotional purposes in any and all media without further consideration, unless prohibited by law. 7. Miscellaneous: All entries become the sole property of Sponsor and none will be returned. In the event of a dispute, entries made by Internet will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. The "authorized account holder" is deemed the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, service provider or other online organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. A potential winner may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, human error or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and award prizes from among all eligible entries received as of such cancellation. Released Parties are not responsible for late, lost, illegible, garbled, incomplete, stolen, or misdirected entries.
