The Wish-Bone® Kitchen Makeover Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is jointly sponsored by iVillage Inc. ("iVillage"), Hearst Communications, Inc., and Unilever Bestfoods (collectively, the "Sponsors") and governed by these official rules (the "Official Rules"). Open to legal residents of the 50 U.S., including D.C., who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. HOW TO ENTER: Beginning 11am ET on 4/18/04 through 11am ET on 10/01/04 (the "Entry Period"), log on to http://www.ivillage.com/wishbone and follow the on-screen entry instructions or click on the Sweepstakes banner and follow the on-screen entry instructions. Entries must be received by 11am ET on 10/01/04. Limit one entry per email/person/household per day (12:00:01 to midnight) throughout the Entry Period. RANDOM DRAWING: Potential winner will be selected in a random drawing on or about 10/06/04 from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period by iVillage, whose decisions are final and binding. Potential winner will be notified by email/mail. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received. PRIZES: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a check in the amount of $25,000 and a consultation with a kitchen designer selected by Sponsors (ARV: $27,000). Fifty (50) Runner-up prizes will be awarded to the first fifty (50) people who enter. Runners-up will receive a gift basket, which includes: a selection of Wish-Bone products and a Good Housekeeping Grilling Cookbook. (ARV: $50 each). Total ARV of all prizes: $29,500. Prizes will be awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. No transfer, substitution or cash will be awarded in lieu of stated prize except Sponsors may replace prize or parts thereof with item(s) of equal or greater value in the event stated prize or parts thereof are unavailable. Winner is responsible for any and all federal, state and local taxes. Prizes are nontransferable, non-substitutable and nonendorseable. GENERAL RULES: Employees of Sponsors, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate or win in the Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. All federal, state and local laws apply. All entries submitted become the sole property of the Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned. Potential winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability and, where legal, Publicity/Prize Acceptance form within 7 days of attempted notification. Noncompliance within this time period or return of any prize/prize notification may result in disqualification and an alternate potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from the remaining eligible entries received. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to the Sponsors and their agencies to use winner's name, city, state, likeness, voice, biographical information and statements made by winner for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity in any and all media, now or hereafter known, throughout the world in perpetuity without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. Entrants agree to hold Sponsors, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties"), harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of prize or participation in this Sweepstakes. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrant waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages, attorney's fees or any other damages. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrant agrees to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsors. Released Parties are not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, damaged, illegible, misdirected entries, for technical hardware, software malfunctions or failures of any kind, lost, unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission, which may limit an entrant's ability to participate. Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, suspend or modify the Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof), or to disqualify any implicated entrant(s), if any fraud, virus, actions by entrants, technical or other error or problem, or any other occurrence corrupts or affects the administration, integrity, security or proper play of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion. In the event of cancellation, Sponsors reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to award the prizes not already awarded in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the time of the event or action warranting such cancellation. In the event this Sweepstakes is cancelled prior to the stated end date, a notice will be posted at http://www.ivillage.com/wishbone. CAUTION: Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any Web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsors reserve the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. In the event of such a dispute or in the event a potential winner entered via Internet and a dispute arises regarding specific individual entitled to receive prize, entries made by Internet will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry and any damage made to the Web site will also be the responsibility of the authorized account holder. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Released Parties are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of these Official Rules, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize or for any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participating in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with this Sweepstakes.
