As your kids debate whether to dress up as a Smurf or an Angry Bird, as Batgirl or Belle this Halloween, you need to gear up for the onslaught of candy, parties and trick-or-treaters that come around each October.

For us, the super-fun holiday raises seriously pressing questions like: Do you tell your kids if you've eaten some of their candy stash? Do you ration out their candy or let them eat as much as they want? At what age are kids too old to trick-or-treat? Should you take the day off from work to watch the school costume parade?

Take our Halloween survey with the Today show, and share the scoop on homemade vs. store-bought costumes, what type of treats you buy (and how much of it you eat yourself!), how you really feel about trick-or-treaters, and how much you spend on it all. Click here to vote in the poll!
