Tara Reid is having a less-than-ideal vacation in France. Last week, media outlets reported that the American Reunion star, 36, was being hospitalized in the town of Nice for acute pancreatitis. According to TMZ, she spent several days in the hospital recovering from the illness, which causes symptoms like vomiting, nausea and fever.
But Tara swears that she's "all good and healthy" now. On Saturday, the actress announced that the media got it wrong, and she wasn't suffering from pancreatitis. She did, however, have an unfortunate encounter with a jet ski, as well as some bad seafood.
"Don't worry everyone...I got a seafood poisening [sic] and hurt my back on the jetski but I'm all better thanks for caring!" Reid wrote, according to E! News. "Jetski's are fun but you have to be safe they can be very dangerous!"
On Sunday, Reid sent a second reassurance to her Twitter followers.
"Everyone these stories I'm reading about myself are not true," she tweeted. "I got hurt on a jetski and went to the hospital to get x ray and I'm fine."
Tara has been partying in Saint Tropez with her rumored new boyfriend Joshua Darval and actor pal Stephen Dorff. This time last summer, she had a surprise wedding to businessman Zack Kehayvov; after they split, she said the marriage was never legal.
