After years of playing the lovesick Jacob Black pining for his unavailable best friend in the Twilight series, it's finally time for Taylor Lautner to get some action!
In the upcoming thriller Abduction, the actor stars opposite his rumored real-life love interest Lily Collins -- and Lautner admits they've been getting down and dirty. Onscreen, at least.
So does that mean the hunky young star, 19, will once again show off his famous six-pack? Lautner told E! News he and Collins don't disrobe (it's a PG-13 movie, after all), but that fans can expect serious chemistry between the two.
"I call it an action-drama-thriller-romance," the Twilight star told E!'s Marc Malkin at the MTV Video Music Awards. "It's got everything."
Considering that their romance kicked off during the Abduction shoot, we can only imagine the sparks in the action thriller, which hits theaters Sept. 23.
"There is an intense steamy scene," Lautner confirms.
The film's critically acclaimed director, John Singleton (Boyz n the Hood, Four Brothers) has already gone on record saying Lautner's Abduction character Nathan has a charisma the ladies will love but that differs from his hot-blooded werewolf.
"I've done some stuff that I'm sure all the young ladies will really love ... and it's beyond taking his shirt off. It's about him having a different kind of swag than he does as Jacob. In this movie, he's Nathan Harper and he's a kickass dude," Singleton told MTV.
Sounds like we're about to see Jacob Black in a whole new light!
