Taylor Swift Cancels Shows Due to Illness

Battling bronchitis, the teen queen postpones the remaining southern leg of her tour until the fall

Somebody get Taylor Swift some chicken soup! The singer has recently had to cancel a bunch of shows, due to a nasty bout of bronchitis.

On July 2, Swift had to miss her show in Louisville, KY, and then went on to cancel her July 8, 9 and 10 shows in Charlotte and Atlanta. The concerts will be rescheduled for the fall, but the "Story of Us" singer is not taking the hiatus lightly.

"It breaks my heart to miss out on this weekend's shows with my friends in Charlotte and Atlanta," Swift said Wednesday in a statement. "I would never cancel if I thought I was physically able to perform these shows. I am so sorry to the fans, but I look forward to seeing you when we come back through your towns, which we will do."

As for the Kentucky fans, well, Taylor's thinking of you, too!

"Louisville, I'm so sorry to have to postpone this show to Oct 11," Swift tweeted Saturday. "This is my first time having to do this. I'm so, so sorry."

We hope she feels better soon!
