Taylor Swift Thinks "Being Single Is Wonderful"

The 20-year-old singer has dated her fair share of Hollywood hotties -- but she says right now she's happy on her own

At the young age of 20, Taylor Swift has already had a rather complicated love life. But, the Grammy-winning singer doesn't let her high-profile breakups get her down. In fact, she uses her pain as inspiration for some pretty great music!

Now Swift, whose latest album Speak Now is being released on Oct. 25, is opening up to People magazine about her famous exes and the single life.

"Being single is wonderful and I love it," Swift says. "I don't ever have a morning where I wake up and say, 'I really need to find a boyfriend today.'"

Could her splits from former flames Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner or notorious playboy John Mayer be the cause for her pro-singlehood stance?

Swift, whose new song "Dear John" is speculated to be about her fling with Mayer, says she's used her music to help her deal with her failed relationships. "Sometimes when things impact you so intensely, it takes writing a song to get over them," she says.

The pop-country star says that she's experienced "extreme joy, extreme pain, extreme curveballs" in her love life. But she makes a promise to fans: "I will say everything in my music."
