Taylor Swift is a talented crossover artist who appeals to fans of several genres, but it sounds like she may have officially closed the door on ever releasing an old-school rap album.
In the newest promo for the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, multiple-nominee Swift hangs out with host LL Cool J, who starts beatboxing to Taylor's name. Swift bops her head feeling the rhythm, but then unexpectedly jumps in her with her own unique brand of beatboxing.
To his credit, LL looks amused but doesn't stop beatboxing. And while Swift, 22, tries her hardest to mimic his sounds, she seems to realize that she looks more than a bit silly. At the end of the promo the two burst into giggles, as LL says, "I love it! Oh my God!"

The Grammys, which air Sunday, Feb. 12, will feature Swift presenting and singing (but hopefully not beatboxing). An awards-show fixture, the country-pop diva joins fellow musicians Nicki Minaj, Kelly Clarkson, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Rihanna and the just-announced Bruce Springsteen (who will hopefully tribute his late good friend Clarence Clemmons) as the show's performers.
What do you think of Swift's attempt to beatbox with LL?
