If you're needing a daily dose of cuteness, you probably should check out Tuesday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. On it, Dr. Seuss' The Lorax costars Zac Efron and Taylor Swift pulled out their guitars and sang a charming (and slightly modified) duet of Foster the People's "Pumped Up Kicks," once again proving that they're two of the most adorable young celebrities in Hollywood. Watch their performance below!
But as cute as they are together (Taylor taught Zac to play guitar!), the couple say they aren't together romantically, despite Ellen DeGeneres' many hilarious insinuations.
"We are not a couple," Swift, 22, broke down and said at one point during the interview. "He's awesome, we are not a couple though," she insisted. "You hear people get together when they're shooting movies, costars. But not like animated costars. You know what I'm saying. Oh my God, as we were recording our voiceovers on separate coasts we really connected."
So if they're not dating each other, what did Swift and Efron do for Valentine's Day? Taylor told Ellen that she threw a "pathetic single girls party" (which involved guilt-free eating, dancing and discussing why she and her friends aren't dating anyone), while Efron was quick to say that his night went an alternate route.
"That's so different than what single guys do. I went to a screening of a film that I did called Liberal Arts," he said. "Then cooked some dinner with a friend." Perhaps that "friend" was Mirror Mirror star (and Zac's rumored girlfriend) Lily Collins? Alas, Efron's not spilling. So he's talented, adorable and a true gentleman. Eat your hearts out, ladies!
