When a kid's gotta go, a kid's gotta go. So it's no wonder parents were up in arms when they learned an elementary school teacher refused to let a 7-year-old go the bathroom, causing him to wet his pants. NBCDFW.com reports the Irving, Texas school district plans to take disciplinary action against the teacher, who charges kids "Boyd Bucks," rewards for good behavior, to earn restroom breaks. "I was absolutely appalled," Sonja Cross, the boy's mom, tells the station. "He tried to hold it as much as he could, but he just couldn't. He came home from school, and he was crying and really upset." Cross told school officials about the teacher's pay-to-pee plan, and she was told to stop, NBC adds.
