Team Aniston vs. Team Jolie is so 2005. This year, the buzz is all about whether you're on Team Simpson Squared or Team Lachey/Minnillo. Although she's been linked to a slew of Hollywood guys (including Jared Leto and Adam Levine), Jessica has been spending most of her time with Papa Joe, her way-too-involved father, and her trusty hairdresser, Ken Paves. Nick, on the other hand, has been pictured, most recently, gettin' it on with MTV VJ Vanessa Minnillo everywhere from NYC to Mexico. The brown-haired bombshell also appeared in the music video for Nick's song "What's Left of Me."
Too bad Hollywood's such a small world... The members of this love triangle can't avoid each other. Jess bumped into Nick and Ness at West Hollywood's Hyde bar in mid-July. Although all parties (Jess was with Ken) remained civil, we're not holding our breath for any air kissing. Less than a week later, Vanessa was conspicuously absent from her regular Total Request Live hosting gig when Jess appeared on the air to promote her new video. Rumor has it Vanessa was actually banned from the building that day! But gear up for another reunion at the Teen Choice Awards on August 20. All three stars have been nominated, and Jess has been tapped as a cohost — and you know Papa Joe wouldn't miss that!
