Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham has had some work done... again. Two years ago, Abraham had her boob job documented by MTV's cameras. Now, the 21-year-old reality star is debuting a brand-new face on the cover of In Touch magazine.
The single mom revealed to the magazine that she had two procedures, rhinoplasty (a nose job) and a chin implant, performed earlier this month.
"I don't have to hate anything on my face ever again," she gushed after the surgeries. "I feel gorgeous!"
As for her reasons for going under the knife, Abraham says she's always had issues with her looks. "I've hated my nose since I was 13," she says.
She must have hated it a lot, since the face surgery reportedly set her back $16,000. Add that to the $5,000 she spent on her breast implants, and we're talking about $21,000 on cosmetic surgeries alone. That's a hefty chunk of Abraham's Teen Mom salary. (In previous years, she has reportedly made between $39K and $65K a season.) But as far as Farrah is concerned, it was a good investment.
"I hate that surgeries cost this much, but it was worth it," she told the magazine. "There was pain, but it was very worth it."
Abraham's new look may be the most extreme plastic surgery makeover of any Teen Mom star, a few of whom have gone under the knife since becoming MTV stars. It's certainly a bit disconcerting to see these young girls, most of whom were struggling to make ends meet when they became teenage parents, dropping five figures on a superficial luxury like cosmetic surgery.
On the plus side, Abraham has made a lot of good choices in the past few years. Though she initially set out to be a model, she has now put herself through college and is pursuing a master's degree, with the (much more grounded) goal of going into restaurant management. She has moved away from her family and is supporting herself; she hopes to use her Teen Mom fame as a springboard to become a businesswoman; and she is also establishing a college scholarship fund for young, broke parents. In short, it seems like taking care of daughter Sophia is still Farrah's first priority -- even if she occasionally takes an expensive detour into the plastic surgeon's office.
Abraham (minus her new features) will appear on the new season of Teen Mom 2, premiering Nov. 12.
