Which Teeth Come In First?

There are charts that detail the order in which teeth are most likely to appear, but they're not accurate for every child, Dr. Haugseth warns. It's true that many kids get their two lower front teeth first, followed by the two lower side front teeth or two upper front teeth. But "the eruption pattern for baby teeth can be in any order," she says. No matter which choppers show up first, nearly every child will have a full set of 20 by her third birthday.
