Teresa Giudice: I'm Trying to Fix Things with My Family

It's clear from part 1 of the reunion show for The Real Housewives of New Jersey that everyone loves... to hate Teresa Giudice. But despite the vitriol slung at her, the self-promoting cookbook author says she remains confused by her costars' animosity -- especially from Caroline Manzo.

"I don't get Caroline's problem with me," Giudice tells People. "I never did anything to intentionally hurt people."

Things got particularly ugly when Manzo started airing Giudice's dirty laundry. Manzo claimed that Giudice had confided she had never planned to reconcile with her brother Joe Gorga and had in fact referred to him as an "a--hole."

But despite the accusations and the continuing frostiness between all the costars (including Giudice's sister-in-law Melissa Gorga), 39-year-old Giudice says her family tops her priority list.

"I love my family," she tells People. "I love Melissa. My brother is married to her for seven years. … I'm trying to make things better."

Giudice adds that her castmates are misleading the audience about her.

"They are trying to make it look like I'm hurting Melissa," she says. "But, if anything, I always stuck by her."
