Textured Chignon

To copy Jennifer Lawrence’s glam up-do, use a drop of serum and rake through wet hair. Dove celebrity hairstylist Mark Townsend, who created the style for the Oscar nominee, recommends Dove’s new Nourishing Oil Care Serum. Then, blow out hair with a round brush to get optimal volume at the roots. Take 1-inch sections of hair and wrap them around a 1/2-inch curling iron in alternate directions to create texture. Rub a dime-sized amount of a smoothing cream, such as Dove’s Nourishing Oil Care Leave-in, throughout the hair. Use a dry texturizing spray all over and pull hair back into a ponytail towards the middle of the head (not into a low ponytail). Then wrap into a chignon and secure with bobby pins. Finish with hairspray to set.
