Place Settings

At each child’s place, basic, bright colors echo the boat’s sails. Green paper place mats also serve as canvases for pre- or post-feast doodling.

Blue paper plates and disposable yellow cups eliminate worries about rough handling and cut down on the hostess’s dishwashing duties. Orange paper napkins and cool bamboo utensils complete the kid-friendly place setting.

Coasters fashioned from 4 1/2-inch squares of blue scrapbook paper give the impression of ocean water. (The place mats, plates, cups, napkins, bamboo utensils, and scrapbook paper can be purchased at a party or crafts store.)
