The Thigh Glider

Product: Thigh Glider
Cost: $159.80
Claim: Slenderize your buns, thighs and core in just 10 workouts

With the Thigh Glider, exercisers kneel on pads that slide in and out, working their legs as they go. However, while experts say this device does work a person’s inner and outer thighs, it ignores the hamstrings and gluteals. Despite the product’s 10 workout claim, users don’t get an appropriate full lower body workout, the real key to a slimmer core, buns and thighs, says Sara Haley, Reebok Master Trainer in Los Angeles. “You might see some small changes in your inner and outer thighs, but because the equipment ignores your quadriceps and hamstrings, your results will be very limited.” Plus, if you have knee issues, this equipment could exacerbate your problem, since users are required to kneel during use. And like the Rhythm Rocker, this product is bulky, measuring 44 inches wide by 29 inches long.

Verdict: Scam!
