Actress Tia Carrere has filed for divorce from her husband, Simon Wakelin, after seven years of marriage.
The Wayne's World star, 43, is acting as her own attorney in her divorce from the British journalist and is seeking sole custody of their 4-year-old daughter, Bianca. The papers, which were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court late last week, cite irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. They also show that the couple has a prenuptial agreement.
This will be the second failed marriage for Carrere, who split from producer Elie Samaha in 2000.
