Tiger's Mistress 'Can't Imagine' Elin's Pain

After breaking down in tears during a TODAY show interview this morning, Cori Rist, one of Tiger Woods' many alleged mistresses, said she "can't imagine the pain" Elin Nordegren is feeling right now.

"I didn't think about her at that time. I just believed what he was telling me," Cori said, fighting tears. "I hate that someone has to suffer the consequences of my actions. And her children. I'm a mother, too."

Rist broke down crying when Natalie Morales brought up the effect all of the negative press has had on her son, saying that he is "suffering a lot of consequences" from her affair with Woods."

"It's been tough on my family, too," Rist added. "Nobody wants to see their daughter or granddaughter in this situation."

As for why she chose to come out now, Rist said it's not because she wanted to be in the spotlight and say "me too, look at me," but rather that she needed to set an example for her 7-year-old son about coming clean about bad behavior.

During his two-and-a-half-year relationship with Rist, Tiger insisted his marriage was on the rocks and that he and Elin only remained together because she was pregnant.

Rist said their last conversation was in September, when they argued because he complained that Rist "didn't make enough time for him."

She says she eventually knew she wasn't the only one who was having an affair with Woods.

"I would wake up in the middle of the night and he was texting," she said. "I just had the feeling that this was something bigger."

Plus: Jaimee Grubbs apologized to Tiger's wife for their affair.
