Plenty of people -- including wife Elin Nordegren -- questioned Tiger Woods' decision to resume competing in golf tournaments in the wake of his multi-mistress scandal. Now, to add insult to injury, Woods is partying like he's single while his wife and kids are overseas.
On Monday, just hours after his family boarded a private jet to Nordegren's hometown of Stockholm, Sweden, Woods was spotted at an Orlando restaurant/bar, kicking back with a group of friends. (Waiters were told "not to discuss Tiger's appearance" at the eatery.) Later that night, the philandering golf champ attended a Nickelback concert and reportedly partied backstage, surrounded by a security team. While this isn't quite behavior of Jon Gosselin proportions, witnesses say that Woods was lying low, not flirting and not asking for special favors.
Still, Woods' partying does seem unfair to his wife. If he's interested in saving his marriage, shouldn't he be on that plane helping her care for the two children on the long plane flight to visit their relatives? The fact that he's out partying while she's away makes us think that he's resigned himself to losing his family -- and that's just sad. If a guy can work hard enough to become the best golfer in history, can't he try a little harder to save his marriage for the sake of his children? As for Nordegren, this is the fifth trip she's taken to Sweden in a month -- and according to Radar Online, she's "not expected back from Sweden anytime soon."
