Tiki Barber Leaves 8-Months Pregnant Wife for 23-Year-Old

The Sunday Night Football host, whose twins are about to be born, has left his wife in a new low for sex scandals

What is this, a cheating epidemic? First Tiger Woods betrays his wife and kids, then Jesse James breaks Sandra Bullock's heart -- and now Today show correspondent Tiki Barber is leaving his pregnant wife, reportedly for a 23-year-old intern.

Barber, the Sunday Night Football host and former NFL star, announced on Monday that he was separating from Ginny Cha, his wife of 11 years. "This decision was a painful one, but we are moving forward amicably," said Barber's statement -- which conveniently failed to mention that Ginny is eight months pregnant with twins. The New York Post reported that detail when breaking the story that Barber, 35, has allegedly been having an affair with a younger woman in his workplace.

Described as a "model-thin bombshell," Traci Lynn Johnson is reportedly a 23-year-old intern whose MySpace profile shows her posing in Barber's jersey. Friends say she accompanied Barber on a trip to Senegal to shoot a Travel Channel documentary in 2009 (when his wife was three months pregnant), after which the TV star reportedly brought her to Vancouver for the Winter Olympics (when his wife was six months pregnant).

The worst part is that Tiki Barber always seemed like such a loyal family man -- he and his wife have been together since college, and he's always spoken proudly of his two sons, A.J., 7, and Chason, 6. In a 2008 interview, Barber talked about the importance of being role model for kids: "When I talk at schools or groups, I talk about athletes and how we're so venerated because of what we're able to achieve. But at the same time, parents are the key to anything in life, so if your son is a fan of Michael Jordan, you better be a fan as well because should he fall, you need to be there to catch the effects."

So if the athlete you worship happens to be your dad? Guess you're just out of luck. Worst of all, it seems Barber himself was wounded emotionally when he learned during childhood about the womanizing ways of his own father (he reportedly said in 2004, "I have a hard time forgiving that") and may be simply following in those same pain-inflicting footsteps as an adult.
