Tina Fey 30 Rocks the Emmys!
Liz Lemon prevails!
Looking gorgeous and sexy as all get out, Tina Fey took home the Best Actress Emmy for her role on NBC's 30 Rock. In addition, the show that she created won for Best Writing and Best Comedy. Tina's cohort on the show, Alec Baldwin, also snagged the prize, after his name was called in the Best Actor in a Comedy category.
"It's the greatest job I ever had in my life," he said.
As for Tina, she gave a shout-out to her competition, the hilarious Julia-Louis Dreyfuss, who was nominated for The New Adventures of Old Christine. Tina joked that when she doesn't know what to do in a scene, her husband tells her to act like Julia.
"So, thanks, Julia. It's really working out for me," Tina said, as the former Seinfeld-er gave her a thumbs up.
Damages star Glenn Close won for outstanding lead actress in a drama series, while lead actor winner Bryan Cranston seemed shocked to hear his name for his role in Breaking Bad.
