Liz Lemon, Tina Fey's alter ego on NBC's 30 Rock, is always lamenting her single-girl status. Still, she's dated some hotties in her time, from new cast member Cheyenne Jackson, to Mad Men's Jon Hamm, to Saturday Night Live's Jason Sudeikis. She's even had dalliances with James Franco and Conan O'Brien, who both appeared on the sitcom as fictional versions of themselves. Now, we've learned that in a Valentine's Day-themed episode of 30 Rock, we'll meet another skeleton in Lemon's closet, an ex played by Jon Bon Jovi.
The episode kicks off, according to TV Guide, with the news that Floyd, the sweet almost-fiancé played by Sudeikis, is marrying another woman... with whom he's competing to win a Today show wedding. In crisis mode, Liz calls her exes, including the doctor whose extreme handsomeness torpedoed their affair (Hamm), Dennis the Beeper King (Dean Winters) and Bon Jovi.
The singer, 47, will perform with his band, Bon Jovi, this Sunday on the Grammy Awards telecast, but as an actor, this is not his first encounter with TV romance. He was Calista Flockhart's handyman love interest for half a season on Ally McBeal and had a one-episode fling with Sarah Jessica Parker on Sex and the City (Carrie picked him up in their mutual therapists' office). His Ally McBeal role was a sensitive single dad, while his Sex and the City character was a callous commitment-phobe -- what kind of lothario will the rock star play on 30 Rock?
