The Tiniest Duggar Turns One!

When you've got 19 kids, it's safe to say -- as one of the Duggar kids did -- that you're celebrating birthdays pretty darn frequently. But on last night's episode of 19 Kids and Counting, the Duggar family marked an extra-special milestone: Baby Josie Duggar's first birthday.

"I think everyone in our family would agree that Josie's first birthday is probably one of the most special first birthdays we've had in our family," Michelle Duggar said on the show. The reason: The youngest (and tiniest) Duggar was born at 25 weeks gestation and weighed just 1 pound, 6 ounces.

Josie actually turned one on December 10th, while daddy Jim Bob Duggar and the older kids were on a mission trip in Central America. But once the whole family was back together in Arkansas, it was time for an extra sweet pink polka dotted party, with a big cardboard cut out of the number one, a cake with Josie's picture on it and plenty of balloons. And of course, when you have 18 siblings, there's no shortage of party guests, even if no one beyond your immediate family makes the invite list.

Still, the celebration got us thinking: As busy moms, we have a hard enough time remembering the few important dates in our lives. Remembering 19 of them? Forget it! And actually planning birthday parties for 19 kids has got to be a challenge. So we tip our (party) hat to mama Michelle -- and wish baby Josie a very happy first birthday.
