Stuff We Love: Todd Oldham's Kid Made Modern Collection for Target

Craft-loving moms and kids take note: Celebrity designer Todd Oldham's Kid Made Modern Collection of art supplies and projects launches at Target this Sunday!

The retailer's latest designer collection skips cute clothes (remember Calypso and Missoni?) in favor of imagination-boosting crafts inspired by Oldham's 2009 book of easy kids' projects, Kid Made Modern, and we're swooning over the coolness of it all. There are gem shaped crayons, a beachy jewelry kit, paintable wooden figures, patterned tape, a comic book kit complete with rubber "Pow" and "Kapow" stamps, and more -- all priced under $20.

"My main inspiration for the Kid Made Modern collection is kids and to foster creativity," Oldham said. "I wanted to design a collection that lets kids be kids through creative play."

So make a duct-tape wallet with the 3-pack of tape (one of Oldham's favorite products in the collection), bead a necklace or write a comic book with your kid -- we can't think of a better way to spend a day.
