Tom Brady on Raising a Girl: "I'm in Trouble"

After having two sons, the NFL star jokes that his baby girl will be a challenge -- but he's glad his boys have a sister

Tom Brady knows what it's like to grow up with girls, but raising one is altogether different!

The New England Patriots QB -- who has two sons: 3-year-old Benjamin with wife Gisele Bundchen and 5-year-old John from Brady's previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan -- says adding baby Vivian Lake to his family is a game-changing event.

"I'm in trouble!" Brady, 35, joked to ESPN about having his first daughter.

But even though he'll have new challenges with a little girl, Brady knows his older sons will appreciate having a younger sister.

"I grew up in a house with three sisters," Brady explained. "I think it's great for my boys to have a girl in the house, just to understand at least a little bit about what makes a woman tick -- not that I can certainly figure that out, because I can't. She's a beautiful little girl."

And it's being an exceptional father at home -- not just a good quarterback on the field -- that Brady considers his highest calling.

"I love playing football. I love coming to work every day," the quarterback said. "But also, being at home, and giving those boys my attention, and my affection, and my discipline, and being a good parent is so important, because I grew up with two of the best parents a son could ever ask for."
