Will Tom Cruise Make a Les Grossman Movie?

Talk about All the Right Moves! The hip-hop executive caricature means fans may start seeing more comedy from Cruise

For Tom Cruise, Les is more. The movie star -- who played controversial (some critics found the character to be anti-Semitic), rap-happy, hotheaded movie exec Les Grossman in 2008's Tropic Thunder (for which Cruise earned a Golden Globe nomination) -- recently reprised the over-the-top character at Sunday's 2010 MTV Movie Awards.
Cruise, 47,  once again donned a bald cap and bad chest hair for spoofy sketches costarring Robert Pattison and Taylor Lautner, as well as a booty-shaking hip-hop performance with Jennifer Lopez (Cruise claims wife Katie Holmes was present for dance rehearsals). Cruise told E! that as far as a Les Grossman movie is concerned, "Yup, we're working on it." Comedy star Tom Cruise? Could be!
But before any Les Grossman trailers start airing in cinemas, the actor is currently out promoting his latest effort, Knight and Day, an action comedy pairing him once again with Cameron Diaz (the two worked together on the mind-bending 2001 drama Vanilla Sky.) The film hits theaters on June 25.
