Water War! Tom Cruise Makes a Splash During Visit to 'Jimmy Fallon'

Not only did the men douse each other in an epic battle, but they also chatted about how the actor injured his foot while on the Jack Reacher set

Tom Cruise gave his first post-divorce television interview to late-night talk show host Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night to discuss his latest film, Jack Reacher. Coincidentally, Cruise chose to break his public silence on the same show as his ex-wife Katie Holmes did almost exactly one month ago -- except, he made more of a splash.

The action star, 50, was a good sport on NBC's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, agreeing to a game of "Water War" that got both of the men drenched -- watch the hilarious clip here:

Believe it or not, Fallon and Cruise did talk about the movie. The actor even confessed to the funnyman about the one area of his body he injured while making Jack Reacher

Fallon remarked how impressive it was that Cruise is renowned for doing his own stunts and called out the elaborate stunt sequences in Mission: Impossible and Jack Reacher that looked particularly dangerous.

But according to Cruise, the worst injury he received on the set of Jack Reacher was to his foot... because of something completely low-tech.

"I hurt my foot," Cruise explained. "There's a scene where I'm kicking a guy in the balls, the testicles."

"In the testicles," Fallon confirmed before asking, "Was it a human being or was it a mannequin?"

"It was a human being, [but] no testicles were injured in the making of the film! We had to do the take over and over again... and the first 10 times it was like 'Yeah!'" he joked raising his arms in victory. "After about 50 times in, my foot was swelling... I kept having to loosen my shoe."

"Maybe Jack Reacher should wear Ugg boots," Fallon laughed.

"I was liming for days," Cruise deadpanned, to which Fallon responded, "So was he!"

Those expecting any big revelations about his divorce from Holmes will be disappointed, because Cruise and Fallon kept things breezy, funny and bright.
