The following dressings can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge for a few weeks for your next salsafest. Just toss in 1 to 2 tablespoons with 2 cups of the chopped veggies of your choice for well-balanced flavor.
Cilantro Lime Dressing:
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 1 clove minced garlic
Red Wine Vinaigrette:
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Orange Chipotle Dressing:
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1 tablespoon chipotle pepper puree (Adobo sauce)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Balsamic Vinaigrette:
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
