Tori Spelling's shockingly thin frame has been puzzling fans lately, and now the reality star/actress/author (currently promoting her latest memoir, uncharted terriTORI) is speaking out about rumors that she suffers from an eating disorder.

While visiting NBC's Today show on Wednesday, the 36-year-old actress talked about an incident when she took to her Twitter to defend her weight (she tweeted to followers that she was 107 lbs., though she admits she was really 104 lbs.) after a tabloid alleged she weighed only 95 lbs. "I got so mad I thought those 3 lbs. added something, a lot of weight," she explained to Ann Curry .

Spelling went on to say, "I feel like at this point in my life I'm a role model for a lot of women and I have a daughter of my own. So, being labeled as 'too thin', having an eating disorder, it's definitely something I want to address, because that's not what's going on."

When Curry asked Spelling if she did, in fact, have an eating disorder, the Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood star said very matter-of-factly, "I do not. I do not."

She talked further about the accusations, explaining to Curry, "I don't think people really understand how much it hurts. They understand that it hurts to call people overweight, but when you call someone underweight, it's just as horrible."

So, to what does Spelling credit her noticeably small frame? USA Today reports that in her new book, Spelling reveals that a combination of swine flu, stomach pain, migraines and nerve problems caused her weight to plummet.

Spelling was reportedly in the hospital three times within the past year and medications allegedly caused her severe stomach problems. "I've never had a great stomach, but (being ill) just completely tore up my stomach and broke down my immune system, and I've basically just been a mess ever since, stomach-wise. It's about rebuilding my immune system," Spelling says.

See the rest of what Tori Spelling had to say about restoring her relationship with her estranged mother Candy Spelling, her relationship woes with husband Dean McDermott, and why she has decided to raise her children in the public spotlight, in the Today show video clip below.
