Tori Spelling on Mom: "There's No Feud"

Well, is there a feud or isn't there?

Tori Spelling and mom, Candy Spelling, just can't seem to get it together. One minute they're all hate, hate, hate, and the next they are like "what feud?"

Tori told People.com that stories of a nasty rift between her and her mom are totally exaggerated -- kind of.

"It's not like we're not talking, we just haven't talked," the actress said. "I love my mother. I've always loved her [and] no doubt she loves me. There's no feud. We simply never meshed. My mother is who she is. I've become who I am. At some point I realized those two just didn't go together."

Recently, Candy claimed that Tori didn't let her see her grandkids, Liam and Stella, and that she doesn't even know where her daughter and Dean McDermott live.

Not so, says Tori.

"I, in no way, cut her off. She is welcome to make the effort if she wants to be present in their lives."

Donna Martin says the last contact she had with her mom was an email when Tori was pregnant with Stella. "She knows how to reach me, she knows where we live. If she would love to see her grandchildren, she should really make an effort to reach out and see them."

As for Candy's new book, Stories from Candyland, Tori says she hasn't read it yet, but plans to do so. "If she wants to put her truth out there as she sees it, she's completely entitled to do that. I know she has a letter to the grandchildren in it, and I think that's perfectly lovely if that makes her happy," says the actress. "And you know, I hope she follows through on that. I hope they do mean the world to her and she does reach out to them."

So much angst! They really need to go to family therapy.
